Does a triple divorce occur if one pronounces it intending a single divorce?

If you repeat the word of divorce intending for the other party to hear, and not intending multiple divorces, then only one divorce is binding upon you. Just as speech is repeated for emphasis, and that is acceptable, so too is the intention of making heard more deserving that the divorce not be multiplied thereby.
