Is it permissible for a sister's husband to force her to revoke her mother's power of attorney for receiving her share of the inheritance, and how can the sister protect her inheritance and preserve her marriage given her fears of her husband seizing it and divorcing her?

A woman has the right to dispose of her wealth within the limits of Sharia, and her husband does not have the right to prevent her from doing so. Therefore, your sister has the right to appoint her mother as her agent for her share of the inheritance, and her husband cannot force her to cancel this agency. We advise her to pray that Allah protects her wealth and that marital harmony prevails between them. Allah Almighty says: "And when My servants ask you concerning Me, then [answer them], I am indeed near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided" (Al-Baqarah: 186). We also advise her to deal wisely with her husband, to manage him kindly, to be good to him, and to help him with household affairs and expenses, for perhaps that will protect her from his harm.
