Is working in the trade of roses, ornamental plants, and cut flowers, and selling them, forbidden or permissible? And is dealing in them considered a type of extravagance and wastefulness?

It is permissible to produce and sell roses and ornamental plants at a suitable price that does not lead to extravagance. Otherwise, selling them would be forbidden, because in that case, it would fall under aiding in sin. Allah Almighty says: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression." Roses and plants fulfill an innate human need, which is to enjoy seeing beauty, and Allah is beautiful and loves beauty.
