What is the ruling on selling vases for decoration, and does their permissible sale conflict with the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) prohibition against wasting money?

Wasting money occurs by destroying it or spending it on what Allah Almighty has forbidden, such as when Allah provides you with sustenance, and you spend it on what He has forbidden for you. Scholars have three opinions regarding wasting money: either it refers to neglecting one's possessions, such as slaves and animals; or failing to maintain and develop one's wealth; or spending money on falsehoods, extravagance, and sins. The latter is the correct view according to people of faith and intellect. Selling and buying vases at a suitable price does not fall under wasting money.
