What is the ruling on watching TV series that embody the roles of prophets?
It is not permissible to portray prophets in films, TV series, and the like from the outset. Doing so is, in itself, an affront to the esteemed position of prophethood and a major transgression. If acting (in such portrayals) is forbidden, then watching them is also forbidden.
