When does the time for Fajr prayer end, so that it becomes a missed prayer (qadaa')?

Allah has appointed a known time for the obligatory prayers, with a beginning and an end, as He, the Exalted, says: "Indeed, prayer has been decreed upon the believers at specified times." The Lawgiver has set precise signs for this. The time for the Fajr prayer begins with the appearance of dawn and ends with sunrise. It is not permissible to delay it beyond its time except for a legitimate excuse, such as sleep or forgetfulness.
