Is it permissible for a Muslim woman to wear very wide trousers and a long, loose blouse as a hijab in her society? And is the drying up of tears during supplication and prostration, after being accustomed to weeping during them, a sign of a hardened heart?

The Islamic hijab has specific regulations that do not stipulate a particular type of clothing. If these conditions are met by trousers and a blouse, it is permissible for a woman to wear them. Otherwise, it is forbidden to wear them in front of ajnab (non-mahram men). It is expected that these conditions are often not met by this type of clothing.

The virtue of weeping out of the fear of Allah is great. The heart fluctuates, sometimes becoming humble and weeping, and other times becoming hard and dry. There is no need to worry about this, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, affirmed the Companions who complained about the fluctuation of their hearts, saying: "By Him in Whose Hand is my soul, if you were to remain as you are with me and in remembrance [of Allah], the angels would shake hands with you in your beds and in your roads. But, O Hanzalah, an hour for this and an hour for that."
