Do you believe that there is no denial in disagreement, and why do you not mention the opinion of Al-Albani and some of the Salaf regarding the uncovering of the face, and impose your opinion only, despite the existence of other opinions such as al-idna' (covering the face partially with the garment) which Ibn Abbas mentioned?

Please do not accuse us. You can refer to our fatwas that mention the difference of opinion regarding the issue of covering the face, such as fatwas no. 59394, 32209, and 37564. We lean towards the obligation of covering the face and hands due to the strength of their evidence in our view, and this is mentioned in the aforementioned fatwas. However, whoever finds the evidence for the other opinion stronger is excused, as the matter is one of ijtihad (independent reasoning) and the difference of opinion therein is permissible, and there is no denunciation in such matters. You can refer to fatwa no. 68792 and fatwa no. 37917 in this regard. As for Ibn Abbas’s interpretation of al-idna’ (drawing close) is in fatwa no. 53762. Sheikh Al-Albani and other scholars are held in respect and esteem, and our disagreement with them does not diminish that, because we strive for the truth, which is dearer to us. This is the approach of Sheikh Al-Albani himself; refer to fatwa no. 59894.
