If IVF necessitates the emission of semen during Ramadan, this invalidates the fast. It must be postponed until night or until after Ramadan, if possible. If it is not possible to postpone it beyond daylight hours due to considerable hardship, then the person is considered ill and is permitted to break their fast, and they must make up for it later.
