Is it better for a woman afflicted with a disease that may lead to cancer to devote herself to learning the matters of her religion and worshipping her Lord in her home, or to continue her work as a Quran teacher in Western countries, knowing that her work limits her worship and affects her home, and that there are others who can teach besides her?

It is recommended to supplicate frequently for well-being, to not be concerned about a potential illness that may afflict you, and to seek refuge with Allah from Satan. Teaching the Quran is among the best deeds, as its benefit is far-reaching. One can recite or listen to the Quran on the way to work. The time for Qiyam al-Layl (night prayer) is extensive, and one can pray as many rak'ahs as easily possible. It is better for a woman to continue working if her husband permits it and it does not conflict with household affairs and her marital duties, as serving the husband is obligatory. Mutual understanding and cooperation between spouses regarding household matters will ease affairs.
