What is the ruling on performing prayers in fitting rooms in commercial stores when there is no designated prayer area available, knowing that store owners may not approve of this?

The prayer of the questioner and his companion in the aforementioned place is valid. However, it is advisable not to repeat this in the future, as some scholars consider prayer on another's property without their permission to be forbidden, and some even deem it invalid. Additionally, this action might expose them to problems with shop owners, especially with the presence of surveillance cameras. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "It is not befitting for a believer to humiliate himself." They asked: "How does he humiliate himself?" He replied: "By exposing himself to trials that he cannot bear." Some scholars permit combining the two associated prayers, either by advancing or delaying them, when there is a need.
