What is the ruling on a pilot growing a beard if it prevents the oxygen mask from fitting securely, and is a pilot without a beard considered an infidel?

It is not permissible to shave the beard or to take anything from it, due to the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: "Lengthen the beards" and "Leave the beards to grow". The beard does not prevent piloting airplanes. A person will be resurrected in the state in which he died. Would it please you to be resurrected clean-shaven, while the Prophet and his companions had beards?
