Satan entices the young man through gradual steps of online communication with a girl until he falls into indecency. This begins with remote attachment, then public communication, then private communication, then inappropriate talk, then phone calls, and finally, meetings.

The young man must divert his heart from this girl and cease all communication with her permanently, in order to block the doors to temptation.

As stated in the noble Hadith: "The lawful is clear, and the unlawful is clear, and between them are doubtful matters which many people do not know. So he who guards against doubtful matters, safeguards his religion and his honor. And he who falls into doubtful matters, falls into the unlawful." He must also distance himself from everything that reminds him of her.

We do not advise the young man to pray to marry her now, but rather to forget her completely. He should pray to Allah to purify his heart from indecencies, and to fill his heart and mind with what is beneficial and useful. He should also stop talking and messaging if he starts to incline towards her.
