Children of disbelievers follow their parents in worldly rulings. The correct view is that whoever among them dies before reaching the age of accountability will be tested in the Hereafter. As for someone who was a Christian, then became insane and died, he dies upon the belief he held before his insanity. Sheikh al-Islam has clarified the rulings concerning the insane person regarding Islam and disbelief, depending on their state before and after insanity, and on their affiliation with their parents or the people of the land.
