Is it considered showing off (riya') if one tidies and cleans the home and clothes with the intention of pleasing Allah, and then seeking people's praise?

“Showing off” (riya’) is performing an act of worship while being mindful of other than Allah, or informing people about it, or loving for them to discover it for a worldly aim, or seeking status in people’s hearts by displaying acts of worship, or desiring worldly benefit through an act of the Afterlife or its means. Therefore, a person’s attention to their cleanliness and good appearance so that people may praise them does not fall under riya’ because these are normal matters.
