Is insulting, backbiting about, or harming any of the currently living Ahl al-Bayt considered disbelief (kufr), because it harms the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, even if the perpetrator loves and respects the Ahl al-Bayt?

The Household of the Prophet (Ahl al-Bayt) are the progeny of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. This includes the families of Ali, Abbas, Ja'far, Aqil, and Al-Harith ibn Abd al-Muttalib. His wives are also included among them, according to the preponderant opinion. They have virtues and rights that Allah has specifically granted them, including their love and the recognition of their status. However, it is not permissible to be excessive regarding them or to elevate them above their rightful status. Cursing them is forbidden and more severely prohibited than cursing others, but it does not reach the level of disbelief (kufr).
