Is a young man's feeling of sexual attraction towards the same sex a trial for which he will be rewarded, and will he be held accountable for these thoughts which he cannot control? Is his marriage to a girl to whom he is not attracted an injustice to her, and is he categorized among those referred to as "people of Lot" in religion?

What has befallen you is a trial from Allah, and you will be rewarded for patiently enduring it if you seek the reward from Him, because it is patience against sin. Allah does not hold one accountable for a mere inclination unless one acts upon it or speaks it. And your marriage to a righteous girl of good character and faith is part of the solution. As for thinking about indecency, if it is merely a fleeting thought and the person does not dwell on it, we hope that such individuals will not be among those whom Allah has threatened with punishment. A person's inclination towards their own gender with lust is a dangerous deviation from sound human nature. Its cure lies in fearing Allah, renewing repentance, occupying the mind and body with obedience to Allah, associating with righteous people, regularly attending gatherings of knowledge and remembrance, lowering the gaze, hastening to marry, and frequently remembering Allah and supplicating to Him.
