As long as she has repented and purified her womb, it is permissible to marry her with the permission of her guardian and the presence of witnesses. Marriage with the intention of divorce after a period is a matter on which scholars have differed, with the majority deeming it permissible. We advise anyone wishing to marry her to do so in a manner that ensures her concealment (ستر). Finally, we caution that killing a girl under the pretext of protecting honor is a great evil, as is the impermissibility of abortion. Blood money (Diyah) is due from whoever performs it after the formation of the fetus.
