All praise is due to Allah. Calamities and sufferings contain great wisdoms, including:

1- Testing the patience and faith of the believer.

2- Reminding man of his weakness and his need for his Lord.

3- Atoning for sins and raising ranks.

4- Not relying on this world and remembering the Hereafter.

5- Alerting to shortcomings so that one may remedy what they have fallen short in.

6- Purifying souls and revealing people's true nature.

7- Worship during hardship carries a great reward.

8- Recognizing the value of Allah's blessings after their removal.

9- Awakening the heart from heedlessness.

10- Distinguishing the truthful from the liar, and the believer from the hypocrite.

11- Encouraging Muslims to cooperate and show mercy to one another.

12- The emergence of the true impact of cooperation in righteousness and piety.
