What is the ruling on selling chicken imported from non-Islamic countries, which is labeled "Halal slaughtered according to Islamic Sharia"?

It is permissible to sell meat imported from the countries of the People of the Book, as long as one does not become certain or predominantly assume that it was not slaughtered according to Islamic law. As for meat imported from the countries of disbelievers who are not People of the Book, the original ruling is that it is forbidden, unless it is known that the one who slaughtered it was a Muslim or a person of the Book.
