What is the authenticity of the dialogue that took place between Ja'far al-Sadiq and Abu Hanifa regarding the prohibition of analogy (qiyas), and was purification from urine forbidden without also purifying from semen?

Qiyas (analogical reasoning) is established and accepted by the texts of the Quran and Sunnah. The Prophet (peace be upon him) used qiyas, and so did the Companions after him. What has been reported from the early Muslims condemning qiyas is understood to refer to invalid qiyas, which contradicts a text, like the qiyas of Iblis. The necessity of qiyas stems from the limited nature of texts, which compels mujtahids (qualified jurists) to deduce and use qiyas when there is no explicit text. Clear qiyas, which attaches that which is unmentioned to that which is mentioned due to the lack of a differentiating factor between them, is denied by none but the arrogant.
