Are there specific criteria for interpreting the symbols of visions and dreams, and can all dreams be interpreted, or are some not permissible to interpret?

Interpreting dreams is permissible, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and Abu Bakr did so. It is a condition for the interpreter to be expert in their interpretation, and it is not permissible for one who is not an expert to interpret them. Dreams are of three types: terrors from Satan, what occupies the dreamer's mind and he sees it in his sleep, and a part of forty-six parts of prophethood. Only the last type can be interpreted.
