Are the prayers performed in Ramadan, whose reward is multiplied seventyfold as stated in the Hadith, sufficient to compensate for nearly three years of missed prayers?

The aforementioned hadith narrated by Salman al-Farsi regarding the virtues of deeds in Ramadan is weak, but there is no harm in acting upon it concerning virtuous deeds. The meaning of the hadith is that whoever performs an obligatory act in Ramadan is as if he has performed seventy obligatory acts outside of it. However, it is not permissible to use it as proof that making up missed prayers is sufficient; rather, one must make up the prayers that were missed.
