What is the ruling on using a women's handbag that has an embroidered cross symbol on it, given that it is unknown whether this was intentional?

It appears that assembled pieces are not considered a cross if they are of equal length, like a plus sign, and therefore the aforementioned bag may be used. It has already been explained that the plus and multiplication signs do not take the ruling of a cross.
