Is it permissible to wear an anchor symbol?

It is prohibited to wear the anchor symbol if it is in the shape of the revered cross or a religious symbol for Christians, unless it is defaced. If it is not, then there is no harm in wearing it. Not everything that comes in the shape of a cross is a cross, for the cross has a specific shape and indicators that point to it.
