What is the ruling on translating the meanings of the Qur’an into Braille for the blind, and does it take the ruling of the Mus'haf?

Braille is a writing system for the blind, and it is permissible to write a translation of the meanings of the Qur’an using it if the translation is reliable. Similarly, it is permissible to write the Holy Qur’an itself with it, while adhering to the Uthmani script as much as possible. This writing does not take the ruling of the Mus'haf (bound copy of the Qur'an) in terms of the obligation of purity. Therefore, it is permissible to touch it while in a state of minor ritual impurity, because it is akin to a translation or an interpretation, and it is not the Qur'an in the Arabic letters in which it was revealed.
