Do daughters have a share in land that their father registered in the names of his two sons during his lifetime, and then he died without bequeathing anything to them from it, knowing that he considered giving them a share in it before his death? And do the father or the sons bear a sin if the daughters do not receive a share of this land? And if they are entitled to compensation, is it calculated based on the current value of the land or its value at the time of the father's death?
A father must be just between his sons and daughters in gifting, unless there is a legitimate Islamic justification, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Fear Allah and be just among your children."
If there was no legitimate Islamic justification for preferring you and your brother over your two sisters, and their waiver of their right was not valid, then the gift must be returned. The land should be added to the inheritance and divided according to the rules of inheritance.
If the land has been sold, its price must be returned to the inheritance to be divided with it. If you do so, we hope it will be an atonement for your father's mistake.
