What are the types of intercession, with an explanation of the the difference between them?

Intercession (Shafa'ah) is of multiple types. Among them is the Grand Intercession (Ash-Shafa'ah Al-Uẓmā), which is exclusive to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, for the final judgment among creation. And among them is the intercession of angels, prophets, and believers. And among them is the intercession of the Most Merciful of those who show mercy, by bringing out from the Fire people who never did any good deed. These types differ from intercession for alleviating punishment or elevating ranks.
