Were the wives of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, by nature temperamental and did they deal with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, with temper?

It is not correct to make the absolute statement that the wives of the Prophet, peace be upon him, were sharp-tempered, as there is no evidence for this claim. Yes, some of his wives were characterized by this trait, such as Sawdah bint Zam'ah and Zaynab bint Jahsh, may Allah be pleased with them both, as established in the authentic Sunnah. This sharpness stemmed from the jealousy that women are naturally inclined to, especially concerning the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, and the Prophet, peace be upon him, would excuse them for that. However, generalizing the statement that all of the Prophet's wives were sharp-tempered with him is incorrect.
