Is it permissible for a general manager in a family company to disburse bonuses to employees in the form of overtime hours to avoid the approval of the higher manager, and must I obey him in that?

Otherwise, it is not permissible for him to do so, as it constitutes an encroachment upon the property of others. It is not permissible to resort to deception by recording bonuses as overtime hours, as this involves lying, betrayal, and consuming wealth unjustly, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: ﴿O YOU WHO HAVE BELIEVED, DO NOT CONSUME ONE ANOTHER’S WEALTH UNJUSTLY BUT ONLY [IN LAWFUL] TRADE BY MUTUAL CONSENT.﴾, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: «The wealth of a person is not lawful [to take] except with his willing consent.» One must refrain from participating in this sin, and the manager should consult with the company owners regarding the bonuses.
