Therefore, Muslims must beware of this and be keen on maintaining connections and good companionship. We advise being diligent in reconciliation and seeking assistance from Allah and from people of influence. It is essential to maintain ties with your cousin, even if he cuts you off, as this may soften his heart and mend the relationship. It is not permissible to obey your mother in cutting off ties with your cousin, for obedience is only in what is right and lawful.
