Is it permissible for men to wear rings, bracelets, or earrings, knowing that the Quraysh used to do so in the pre-Islamic era (Jahiliyyah)?

It is not permissible for a man to wear earrings or hoops in his ears or nose, because that is from the adornments of women. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed men who imitate women. The argument based on the practice of Quraish in the pre-Islamic era is not considered a valid legal proof, for what matters is what the Sharia brought, which prohibited men from imitating women. The Sharia has permitted men the adornment of a silver ring and allowed them to use gold and silver for medical necessity, unlike hoops and earrings. Moreover, wearing hoops resembles the disbelievers in our current times, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade imitating them. Therefore, whoever does this must repent to Allah and distinguish himself from the disbelievers.
