Is it permissible for men to wear silver jewelry such as rings and necklaces?

It is permissible for men to wear rings made of silver, as it has been established that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, wore a silver ring, and the Companions wore silver rings. As for wearing necklaces, it is not permissible for men because it constitutes imitation of women, and there is no evidence that permits men to wear necklaces made of silver.
