Shall we know on the Day of Resurrection the truths that were hidden from us in this world, such as the righteousness or corruption of rulers, officials, and businessmen, and those who committed acts of corruption, and the fate of those who wronged us?
Many exegetes have interpreted Allah's saying: "On that Day, it will declare its news" to mean that the earth will testify on the Day of Resurrection about the good or evil deeds done upon it. This is supported by Allah's saying: "The Day when secrets will be tested," where secrets will become apparent and what was hidden will become manifest. Prophetic hadiths have also stipulated that some disobedient and wicked individuals will be exposed on the Day of Resurrection, such as the treacherous person for whom a banner will be raised commensurate with their treachery, and the embezzler who will carry what they embezzled on their back on the Day of Resurrection. Despite all this, Allah conceals much, forgives, and pardons, out of His grace and generosity.
