Are the husbands of the daughters of a woman's husband permanently forbidden to her?
The husbands of a man's daughters are not permanently or temporarily forbidden to his other wife, as they are not mentioned among the forbidden in Surah An-Nisa (verse 23). Al-Qurtubi mentioned that the verse prohibited seven categories by lineage, six by suckling, and those by affinity. The continuous Sunnah also added the prohibition of combining a woman with her paternal aunt. However, if one of these daughters' husbands has a suckling relationship with the stepmother, such as her being his mother or sister through suckling, then she becomes permanently forbidden to him, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "What is forbidden by lineage is also forbidden by suckling."
