When is it religiously permissible for a woman to wear trousers?

Wearing trousers for women is not permissible except under three conditions: that they be worn under an abaya or a loose dress, that they not resemble men's trousers, and that she does not intend by wearing them to imitate disbelieving or immoral women. However, if they are for her husband, there is no objection to them, provided the last two conditions are met.
