What is the ruling regarding a young man marrying his paternal uncle's daughter despite his father's refusal, due to tribal customs that prohibit marrying relatives?

Marriage to paternal and maternal cousins is permissible in Islamic law by the consensus of scholars, based on the Almighty's saying: (O Prophet, indeed We have made lawful to you your wives to whom you have given their due compensation and those whom your right hand possesses from what Allah has granted you as war booty, and the daughters of your paternal uncles and the daughters of your paternal aunts...). It is not permissible to forbid this based on customs, as the Almighty said: (Or do they have partners who legislated for them of religion what Allah has not authorized) and (O you who have believed, do not prohibit the good things which Allah has made lawful for you). The son must strive to convince his father to gain his approval, because "the pleasure of the Lord is in the pleasure of the parent, and the displeasure of the Lord is in his displeasure." If the father does not agree, then refraining from marrying the girl is closer to filial piety.
