Is it permissible to give zakat to university students, and is it valid to feed them as part of obligatory expiatory feedings?

A university student is not entitled to zakat merely by being a university student. Rather, they are entitled to it if they are poor, needy, or possess one of the qualities of those eligible for zakat. The criterion is their possessing the descriptions of those eligible for zakat. As for the expiation for breaking the fast in Ramadan, it follows the established order: feeding is only an option after being unable to emancipate a slave or fast.
