What is the ruling on saying: "Saint Mary -peace be upon her-"?

The word "saint" is a Christian title, and a Muslim is commanded to differ from Christians. Therefore, one should choose titles that are beloved to Allah. The title "Saint Mary" is mentioned by scholars when quoting Christians, but they do not use it themselves. Rather, they refer to her as "Sayyidah Maryam, the Virgin, the Batool," as stated in Ja'far ibn Abi Talib's speech to the Negus.
