We have not found a ruling for the Tradition (hadith) in question: "Beware of sins, for indeed, a servant commits a sin and is thereby deprived of a provision that had been prepared for him..." It was mentioned by Al-Sakhawi and Al-Ajlouni without commentary. Ibn Abi Hatim narrated it through the chain of Umar ibn Subh, who is very weak; Ibn Hibban said of him: "He fabricates hadith." Similar in meaning is the hadith: "Indeed, a man is deprived of provision by a sin he commits," which some scholars have deemed weak.
