How sound is the Hadith: "Women overcome every honorable person, and none but the ignoble can overcome them"?

The hadith in question was narrated by Ibn Asakir from the tradition of Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him), and its wording is: "The best of you is the best to his family, and I am the best of you to my family. None honors women except a generous one, and none insults them except a wicked one." Sheikh Al-Albani judged this hadith to be fabricated (mawdu').
