Is it permissible for a woman who was forced into marriage and then divorced with a revocable divorce after consummation, to leave the marital home before the 'iddah period ends, and is she entitled to refuse to return to her husband during the 'iddah period?

The marriage of a woman who married out of fear of her father is valid according to the majority of jurists. Others held that it is impermissible and that the choice rests with the wife. If she consents to the marriage after the contract, either verbally or through action, such as enabling the husband to be with her, then it is an affirmation of the contract. If she wishes to end the marital relationship, she has two options: The first is to ask the husband for a divorce. If he agrees, she observes the 'iddah (waiting period) in his house for three menstrual cycles, or until she gives birth if she is pregnant, and he has the right to take her back during the 'iddah. The second is to seek a khul' (divorce at the wife's instance), either by mutual agreement, where she agrees to return the dowry or whatever they agree upon, or she refers the matter to a judge to annul the marriage in exchange for her returning the dowry. In this case, the husband does not have the right to take her back.
