The basic principle regarding names is permissibility unless they contain a legal prohibition. The use of the handle "Khadim Rasool Allah" (Servant of the Messenger of Allah) on social networks is not intended to imply physical servitude, but rather it signifies glorification, veneration, obedience to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and support for his Sunnah. This is a noble meaning. However, whoever uses this name must be truthful in his claim, otherwise, he falls under the warning against "one who pretends to have been given what he has not been given," or one who makes a false claim to gain more.
