Is the Almighty's saying, "for verily thou art in Our eyes," addressed to all humanity, or exclusively to the Messenger, may God's prayers and peace be upon him?

Discourse in the Holy Quran is divided into three types: discourse for the entire Ummah, discourse for the Prophet (peace be upon him) which addresses his Ummah, and discourse specific to him. The Almighty’s saying: "And be patient for the decision of your Lord, for indeed, you are in Our eyes" is specific to the Prophet (peace be upon him), and it includes consolation for him and a divine promise of preservation and care. The believer should emulate the Messenger in patience, for he will be rewarded according to his patience. Allah defends those who believe and supports them according to their faith. And whoever has less faith will have a lesser share of Allah’s guardianship, companionship, and support.
