How can one contemplate the Hereafter and be certain of humanity's entrance into the grave and their standing for accountability on the Day of Resurrection, especially since many have become oblivious to these truths?

A person needs to remind himself of the Hereafter to increase in faith, and that is through:

1. Reflecting on the Qur'an, especially the verses that describe the horrors of the Day of Judgment.

2. Listening to religious sermons and reading books that describe the Day of Judgment, Paradise, and Hellfire.

3. Adhering to environments of faith and associating with the righteous.

4. Being wary of the temptation of wealth, family, and children.

5. Shortening one's hopes, and avoiding excess in permissible things.

6. Supplicating to Allah to renew faith in the heart.
