The question

Is there any evidence from the Qur’an and Sunnah regarding the existence of other species living in the universe outside Earth, and will the Day of Judgment be for the inhabitants of Earth only or for the entire universe, and is there one universe or multiple universes, bearing in mind that the word "universe" is not mentioned in the Holy Qur’an?

The answer

There is much evidence from the Qur’an and Sunnah for the existence of other creatures in the universe besides humans, such as angels and jinn. The Hour will be established for all, and they will be gathered before Allah, as confirmed by His saying: "And the Horn will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will fall unconscious, except whom Allah wills. Then it will be blown a second time, and suddenly they will be standing, looking on." As for the existence of one universe or multiple universes, the term "universe" may be used to refer to all creations, or to one type of them, and the sum of types is called "universes," like the terms "world" and "worlds." The absence of the word "universe" in the Qur’an does not negate the existence of universes, as its meaning is the same as the words "world" and "worlds."
