What are the rights of parents?

The rights of parents are immense, and Allah has commanded kindness to them in word and deed, so long as it does not lead to disobedience. This kindness includes: spending on them, clothing them, and housing them if they are poor. Allah has enjoined this, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) encouraged honoring them.
