The answer

Visiting graves was forbidden, then it was commanded to remember the Afterlife. It is recommended to visit them for contemplation. There is no objection to digging a grave in one's home for admonition and lying in it, as Al-Rabi' bin Khuthaym did, or visiting the grave of a deceased friend, provided that this does not lead to violating the Sharia, such as seeking intercession from the dead.
