The wife receives one-eighth due to the existence of a lineal descendant, and the remainder goes to the sons and daughters by ta'sib (agnatic inheritance), with the male receiving the share of two females. If one of the sons dies after his father and has no male lineal descendant, then his full brother inherits from him by ta'sib. If the inheritance is distributed with the consent of the adult heirs, then none of them has the right to demand a re-division. However, if it was done without their consent or if they were not adults, then the aggrieved party has the right to demand a re-distribution according to Islamic law.
