Is the father sinful for keeping his son in a country where haram (unlawful acts) are prevalent, despite the son's desire to return to his home country and his fear for himself of falling into misdeeds?

If a father knows that his son's continued stay in a land of disbelief will lead to his religious temptation and the commission of forbidden acts, then it is not permissible for him to compel his son to remain there, and he would be sinful for doing so. Nor is it permissible for the son to obey him, because "there is no obedience to a creature in disobedience to the Creator." The son must repent and try to convince his father to move to a Muslim country. If the father does not agree, then it is obligatory for the son to migrate if he is able, especially if he fears for his religion from temptation. If he is unable to migrate, then he must strive against himself to abandon forbidden acts and stay away from places of temptation, while being keen on honoring his father and treating him with kindness.
